Description
This antique Thai house is located in the south east of the island. The view from the property is breathtaking and in the foreground is Lon Island. The turquoise waters of Chalong Bay are home to numerous yachts at anchor. Phuket town is close by, together with various shopping centres, international hospitals and beaches. Phi Phi Island (35km) can be seen to the east and Koh Racha (20km) to the south.This property is set high in the Chalong hills in over 2.5 rai of land.
This complex comprises of seven building, (four pavillions and three salas).
The ground floor is home to a guest quarters, and main living area for the owner. The European and Thai stlye kitchen is on ground floor of the main pavillion. The upper floor has two bedrooms complete with en-suite bathrooms. This block also has a distributed sound system which extends down to the pool deck together a lighting control system in the same area.
A covered walkway of hand-made bricks links the living room to the guest quarters. These are located on the second floor and comprise of three spacious bedroom and two well appointed bathrooms. On the lower floor is a specifically designed office
A utility building, out of sight behind the covered walkway, has two staff bedrooms, one bathroom and a staff living room plus a large laundry and store.
The pool area is a step below the main building. A large a pavillion with dining area below and large living area above has stunning seaviews from this level. A separate sala provides cool shade close to the pool. The pool, with it’s underwater speaker, has an infinity edge facing the sea view and a free form beach edge, refreshigly different from the standard rectangle.
In summary, this is a family home with magnificent views and ideal as a permanent home.
